Important Environment Agency Notice: additional work 7-15 May 2024
During our end of contract inspection, we identified a component on the cill nose piece that needs some additional work. This work will involve diving operations so we will need to have possession of the lock. To minimise impact on harbour users the work will be done over the course of 7 night shifts between 2200 and 0400. The first starting at 2200 on Tuesday 7th May and finishing at 0400 on Tuesday 14th May. Outside of these times the lock should be available as normal. Updates will be provided to harbour users from the lockkeepers on channel 12.
There will be no impact to the walkway.The updated programme will soon be available on the webpage www.lockgates.info
