An access timetable has been agreed between the representative agent of the Environment Agency and the Harbour Master to allow for vessels to pass through at certain times of the day dependant on tides. This timetable has been drawn up in order to minimise disruption to harbour users to the greatest extent possible.

Please note that these are PREDICTED times. Weather conditions, atmospheric pressure and operational issues mean that actual times may vary. 

THE DUTY LOCK KEEPER WILL BROADCAST ON VHF CH 12, ON THE HOUR, FROM 07.00 TO 19.00 DAILY, UPDATING ACCESS TIMES. 

TO GET A MORE ACCURATE TIME, PLEASE LISTEN TO THE BROADCAST 1 OR 2 HOURS BEFORE THE TIME STATED HERE.

Even an experienced lock keeper will not be able to predict actual times, with certainty, more than an hour or two before the times listed.
